Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct site assessments and evaluate project feasibility for LSS solar installations
- Design solar PV systems, including module, inverter, mounting structure, and electrical component selection
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and system schematics
- Perform shading analysis, energy yield simulation, and system optimization using PVsyst
- Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, utility standards, building codes, and safety regulations (e.g., ST and relevant bodies)
- Support procurement with technical specifications for equipment sourcing
- Provide technical support during installation, construction, and commissioning stages
- Collaborate with Project, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure alignment with project requirements and timelines
- Assist in resolving technical issues during project execution
- Stay updated with the latest solar technologies and industry best practices
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Renewable Energy)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in solar PV design or related engineering work
- Experience in LSS solar projects is required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, or similar design tools
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems and engineering principles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills
