Job Description

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Examining and understanding new or modified business process workflows and how they are integrated into digital systems.
Take control of a number of digital services, mainly SAP S/4 HANA MM-Purchasing, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management and Interfaces to External Logistic Partners, Global Label Print Solution (non-SAP), and Interfaces between SAP and Retail Systems.
Act as Digital Project Leader and/or serve as subject matter experts for SCM, procurement, and retail implementation projects.
Ongoing enhancements to business process efficiency that make use of the existing software portfolio and its capabilities, customising it for us through ABAP developments.
Offer advice on the assessment of new software solutions in course of new business requirements that the current software portfolio is unable to meet.
This position focuses on functional problems and escalations; L1/L2 support is outsourced.
There is a strong emphasis on comprehending business processes and converting needs into SAP solutions rather than technical development.
Work closely with organisations and peer teams (Digital, Process Excellence/Mgt., Key users, end users).

Requirements

A university degree in business administration or information technology, with SAP courses in the logistics field.
At least five years of experience as a SAP S4 MM consultant with knowledge of related modules LE, SD, and PP and expertise with SAP rollouts.
Strong hands-on configuration and customisation skills.
Utilise SAP standard features through configuration and customisation to drive improvements and new business requirements (e.g., new product launches, inventory procedures, more business documents).
Although coding is not mandatory, it is beneficial to be able to comprehend technical logic and examine code when troubleshooting.
The ability to troubleshoot complex business and system problems, do root-cause analysis, and review technical ideas when needed.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and work with global stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a hands-on attitude.
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
Experience in retail or omnichannel business environments is a plus.
SAP MM, including purchasing, inventory management, and stock management, together with knowledge of related supply chain procedures, are key functional areas of competence.
