Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful execution of Large Scale Solar (LSS) projects. Reporting to the Head of Department – Utility, you will be responsible for driving assigned project packages from project handover through EPCC execution, commissioning, Commercial Operation Date (COD), and final project acceptance.
This role is ideal for a project management professional with strong EPCC, construction, stakeholder management, and renewable energy experience, who is comfortable working across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of assigned LSS project packages, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Drive EPCC execution from project handover through COD and final acceptance.
- Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, resource plans, and project milestones.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, critical path activities, costs, quality, and HSE performance.
- Identify project risks, delays, and bottlenecks, and drive appropriate corrective and mitigation actions.
- Coordinate closely with engineering/design teams, consultants, subcontractors, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
- Ensure engineering and design deliverables are properly reviewed and approved by the relevant design authority.
- Manage interfaces between design, procurement, construction, and commissioning to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support the resolution of construction, technical, and constructability issues throughout project execution.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, authorities, and other key stakeholders.
- Support contract administration, including variations, claims, progress payments, and contractual matters.
- Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and HSE regulations.
- Support commissioning, testing, inspections, and final project handover.
- Prepare regular project progress reports and updates for senior management.
- Perform other project-related duties as required.
