Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive sales and marketing strategies with detailed data analysis to maximize existing business channels and identify new market opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, government entities, and golf groups to drive business growth
Secure new tournament bookings and consistently update the customer database to maintain accurate records
Achieve monthly sales forecasts and manage departmental budgets in alignment with annual planning
Create compelling sales collateral and marketing materials, ensuring all social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) are regularly updated with engaging content
Gather and analyze competitive intelligence and market factors to identify business advantages and opportunities
Conduct site inspections with tournament organizers and coordinate requests across relevant departments
Deliver golf-related sales training to team members to build expertise and boost performance
Monitor departmental spending and contribute to annual budget planning processes
Plan, implement, and manage marketing campaigns that promote golf services, facilities, and brand positioning across all channels
Organize and promote golf tournaments, corporate events, and promotional activities while coordinating with internal teams for seamless execution
Strengthen brand positioning in the golf and hospitality market through consistent, integrated marketing strategies
Make recommendations to enhance guest ratings and overall golfing experience based on feedback and insights
Maintain positive relationships with departmental heads to ensure cross-functional collaboration and support

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent qualification
Minimum 3 years of sales and management experience in the golf industry, hospitality sector, or resort operations
Proven track record in sales with extensive knowledge of the golf industry
Strong data analysis and financial management skills with experience tracking budgets and spending
Expertise in developing and executing marketing campaigns and managing social media platforms
Experience organizing and coordinating events and tournaments
Ability to conduct training and mentor sales teams to achieve targets
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills across all stakeholder levels
Resourceful, independent, reliable, and transparent in approach
Positive attitude with high energy and motivation
Ability to motivate team members to meet or exceed sales targets
Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and perform additional duties as required
