Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
•Identify, qualify, and develop new customer opportunities to expand market presence and grow the customer base beyond existing key accounts
•Develop and execute comprehensive territory plans focused on account targeting, pipeline development, and competitive market positioning
•Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to drive customer engagement and business growth
•Lead technical presentations and application discussions using consultative selling approaches to understand customer challenges and propose tailored solutions
•Review RFQs and identify critical technical and commercial requirements, coordinating with internal teams for accurate and competitive proposals
•Support preparation and submission of proposals and tenders with complete technical documentation, costing inputs, and commercial alignment
•Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline visibility, sales forecasts, and project tracking with regular reporting to the Head of Sales
•Represent our client at industry events, exhibitions, trade shows, and customer meetings to strengthen brand presence and generate opportunities
•Collaborate with the Singapore application team and regional technical resources to translate customer requirements into engineered solutions and technical specifications
•Partner with regional subsidiaries and technical teams to share market intelligence and ensure effective customer engagement across Southeast Asia
Job Requirements:
•Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
•Proven track record in liquid, beverage, dairy, or hygienic processing industries with strong understanding of system-based solutions
•Ability to interpret and understand P&IDs, process flows, and plant layouts with practical exposure to engineering applications
•Demonstrated success in technical sales or business development roles with strong hunter mentality and new customer acquisition focus
•Strong ability to balance technical requirements with commercial considerations to deliver competitive and profitable solutions
•Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to engage both technical and senior business stakeholders effectively
•Self-driven, proactive, disciplined, and results-oriented with ability to work independently across multiple markets
•Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively across Malaysia, Philippines, and Cambodia
•Strong command of spoken and written English and Mandarin, with additional regional languages as an advantage
