Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
•Manage team performance and drive measurable results across training initiatives
•Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve excellence
•Partner with the recruiting team to identify and hire top talent
•Serve as a subject matter expert and functional knowledge leader within your domain
•Address and resolve escalations with professionalism and strategic thinking
•Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and communication
•Drive accountability across policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures
•Support project work and identify opportunities for process improvements
•Design and build moderate complexity learning experiences tailored to regional needs, grounded in Adult Learning Principles and Instructional Design best practices
•Partner with leadership to implement and operationalize local policies and decisions
Job Requirements:
•Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency
•Minimum 1 year of people management experience
•Minimum 1 year of training and development experience
•Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service environments (in-person or contact center)
•Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end project management and process improvement
•Proven training facilitation experience
•Basic project management skills
•Proficiency with Google Suite tools
