Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle customer service inquiries and complaints from Japanese customers in Japan via phone calls, email, and chat
- Provide professional and courteous support using appropriate business Japanese (Keigo) in all interactions
- Work rotating 24-hour shifts across multiple time slots, with flexibility to adapt to operational needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues efficiently with strong problem-solving skills
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high service quality standards
- Use company IT systems and tools including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office platforms
Job Requirements:
- Native-level Japanese language proficiency (speaking and writing)
- Professional-level command of Keigo (polite/formal Japanese) in both spoken and written communication
- Basic understanding of Japanese business etiquette and professional conduct
- Strong customer-centric mindset and genuine care for customer satisfaction
- Comfortable with IT systems and devices, including Google platform, Microsoft Office, and keyboard shortcuts
- Fast typing ability with proficiency in blind touch typing
- Flexibility and high stress tolerance for 24-hour operation environment
- Quick learning ability and adaptability to new processes
- Ability to multitask and solve problems under pressure
- Willingness to work rotating shifts across all days of the week (Monday-Sunday, 8 hours plus 1.5-hour break)
