Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
•Serve as the primary HRBP for assigned business units while building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
•Lead and manage all Industrial Relations matters including disciplinary actions, grievances, investigations, and performance management initiatives (PIP and non-confirmation cases)
•Provide expert guidance on employment laws, HR policies, and industry best practices to business leaders and employees
•Handle employee relations matters with sensitivity, including counselling, conflict resolution, and workplace mediation
•Prepare comprehensive HR documentation such as show cause letters, warning letters, and support Domestic Inquiry (DI) processes
•Draft, review, and translate HR documents accurately in both English and Japanese
•Partner with business leadership on strategic workforce planning, talent management, and organizational effectiveness initiatives
•Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Benefits, Learning and Development) to deliver integrated HR solutions
•Monitor and analyze HR metrics to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders
•Ensure full compliance with Malaysian labor laws and company HR policies across all operations
•Support and champion employee engagement initiatives and HR policy implementation across the organization
Job Requirements:
•Diploma or higher qualification in any field (HR-related qualifications are preferred but not mandatory)
•Fluent in both Japanese and English, with strong spoken and written communication abilities
•Experience or exposure in Industrial Relations (IR) or HR operations (highly valued)
•Background in BPO roles such as QA, Trainer, Supervisor, Team Lead, or Operations Manager (candidates without direct HR experience are encouraged to apply)
•Experience working in BPO or large-scale operations environments (added advantage)
•Knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and labor regulations (preferred)
•Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities
•Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
